Who is Mats Jonasson? What is Swedish Art Crystal or Swedish Art Glass Sculpture?
A longtime bestseller at Wildlife Wonders and favorite artist / art company of nature lovers and animal enthusiasts as well as art collectors, Mats Jonasson began as an apprentice engraver at The Glass Works in 1959.
Over the next thirty years he worked with many of the most respected contemporary glass artists in Sweden while he developed his own natural, wildlife-inspired sculptural style that separated him from the rest.

Mats and his company Mats Jonasson Art Crystal have been evolving and growing for decades in Maleras Sweden. The company contributes 5% of proceeds of sales on certain wildlife sculptures to an international organization that regulates the trade of international endangered flora and fauna species.
