Horses and humans have always shared a special bond. A lot of the comforts of current human lifestyles are courtesy of the benefits humans received after taming horses and using their help to travel, farm, and communicate across distances.
In this post we will look back to some of the world's most beloved horses throughout history. These horses are heros, champions, saviors, and friends. In many ways, some of the best stories in human history are also stories of horses.
First up we have the beloved racehorse Seabiscuit. One of the greatest racehorses of all time, this champion Thoroughbred was an unlikely champion who became a symbol of hope for many devastated Americans during the Great Depression.
Another beloved racehorse on our list is "Cigar" - a champion American Thoroughbred who won sixteen consecutive races and retired as the leading money earner in Thoroughbred racing history.
