The world's tallest mammals, giraffes bring beauty to the world in their own unique way.
Giraffes are herbivores, and have a peaceful nature despite their gigantic size. A giraffe's leg alone is taller than most humans - measuring on average over 6 feet long.
Typically, giraffes roam grassland areas in small groups of around six. They graze on leaves and buds in treetops, which they are able to reach with their incredibly long necks.
A giraffe's tall height also allows them to scan a vast distance for predators, giving them time to flee if a predator is approaching.
