A celebration of the world we live in and a day set aside for learning and spreading awareness about nature, Earth Day is a worldwide event that's been held on April 22nd since its conception in the 1970s.
From planting a tree to studying about the current state of global changes to joining an environmental organization to cleaning up trash from your local park or beach, there are hundreds of ways to participate in Earth Day each year. You can join the celebrations in your community or endorse the day and its goals in your own personal way.
We recommend joining up with a team of people to clean up a local area, or donating to an organization that supports wildlife rescue or the preservation of wildlife habitat near where you live. Another way to get involved is to simply spend time in nature by yourself or with friends, and get back in touch with the world around you by taking a break from technology and enjoying the sunshine and fresh air.
You can take a day to learn the plants and animals that surround your home or office by simply looking out the window and observing what's there. You can make an extra effort to reduce waste and recycle more in your home by researching greener ways to live for the rest of 2019.
Whatever you do this Earth Day, we support you, and we're happy to share this beautiful world with you.
