A stark realm of natural beauty, this Elk Print When Fall Turns to Winter is by renowned wildlife and nature artist Gary Johnson. A precise canvas giclee print of the original Gary Johnson painting, this image depicts elk grazing under the dim light of early winter. Inspired by a scene captured in the Rocky Mountain National Park, the Elk Print When Fall Turns to Winter pays stunning tribute to the crisp grey area between fall and the first snows of winter.

About Gary Johnson

Gary Johnson, wildlife and landscape painter and artist, is always in pursuit of inspiring images for his wildlife prints. Gary Johnson's originals are created in oils or mixed media on various types of handmade paper, including mulberry and silk paper.

Gary Johnson earned a Masters of Arts degree in Painting and Drawing from California State University Los Angeles and has become an avid supporter of wildlife and habitat conservation. Painting wildlife since 1993, Gary's passion is best summarized in his own words, "Being a painter is a way of life, you live and breathe art." While Gary's art has received numerous prestigious awards, he feels that his efforts over the past ten years have been validated by winning the coveted Gold Metal Grand Prize in the Arts for the Parks Mini Top 100 competition. This high honor was bestowed in 2005. Wildlife Wonders offers paper giclees and canvas giclees of Gary's best loved works. Ask us about "Artist Enhanced" prints, as well. The breathtaking realism and detail of each of Gary's works will bring the beauty and wonder of nature to your home, cabin, or office
