Conceived, created, and finished in the USA by Bovano of Cheshire, this Blue Heron facing Left in Cattails Tabletop Sculpture is a work of art made from hand-applied vitreous enamel on solid copper.  To achieve the subtle color changes and rich saturated quality of the hues, this blue heron sculpture is sprinkled with pulverized glass in an array of colors and then kiln-fired under extreme heat to fuse the glass particles to the solid copper structural form.

  • Work of art hand made by skilled artisans
  • Vitreous enamel fused to copper
  • 1600 degree kiln fired
  • Conceived, designed and manufactured in the USA since 1952
  • All dimensions are approximate due to the hand crafting of the item

About Bovano of Cheshire:

Bovano of Cheshire, renowned U.S. wildlife and nature enameled copper sculpture company, was founded in 1952 by artist Jim Bower. Bower began his lifelong trade experimenting with a unique form of art which involved fusing powdered glass to copper. For many decades the Flood family has grown the product lines of Bovano into an extensive array of stunning enameled copper wall sculptures and desktop sculptures featuring various birds, sea creatures, flowers, objects, and botanical elements. Each Bovano of Cheshire piece is still produced from start to finish in Cheshire, Connecticut.
