Modeled after the Lignum Vitae, a purple-blooming tree known for its dense, sturdy wood, this gorgeous Wood of Life Purple Jade Necklace is a special work by renowned artist Michael Michaud. Inspired by the artist's trip to join relief efforts following the 2016 storms that devastated the Bahamas, this necklace represents a single Lignum Vitae, or holy wood, tree spotted still standing amidst the devastation - a beacon of hope. Handmade in America, this meaningful piece of nature jewelry is cast in sculptural bronze, hand-finished in various patina colors, and accented with hand-cast glass flowers and purple jade stones.
- Cast in bronze, hand finished in a combination of green patina, matte gold and antique copper
- Accented with hand cast glass flowers and purple jade
- Hand crafted in the USA
