The Wood of Life Mini Statement Necklace is a meaningful work of nature art from celebrated artist Michael Michaud. Designed after Michaud joined relief efforts following the 2016 storms that devastated the Bahamian Islands, this necklace represents a single Lignum Vitae, or holy wood, still standing amidst the devastation spotted by the artist. Representing that botanical beacon of hope, this piece is handmade in America from cast bronze, hand-applied patina coloring, and cast glass flowers. The Wood of Life, or Lignum Vitae, is the national tree of the Bahamas.
- Cast in bronze, hand finished in a combination of green patina, matte gold and antique copper
- Accented with hand cast glass flowers
- Hand crafted in the USA
- Measures approx. 16 in adjustable
