Gary Johnson, wildlife and landscape painter and artist, is always in pursuit of inspiring images for his wildlife prints. Gary Johnson's originals are created in oils or mixed media on various types of handmade paper, including mulberry and silk paper.
Gary Johnson earned a Masters of Arts degree in Painting and Drawing from California State University Los Angeles and has become an avid supporter of wildlife and habitat conservation. Painting wildlife since 1993, Gary's passion is best summarized in his own words, "Being a painter is a way of life, you live and breathe art." While Gary's art has received numerous prestigious awards, he feels that his efforts over the past ten years have been validated by winning the coveted Gold Metal Grand Prize in the Arts for the Parks Mini Top 100 competition.
