Featuring a rich color palette of deep blue, soft pink, vibrant orange, and ivy green, this Butterfly and Flowers Enameled Copper Tabletop Sculpture is designed and created by Bovano of Cheshire at their studios in Cheshire, Connecticut. Handmade from a combination of vitreous enamel and solid copper, the delicate detail, sleek surface, and careful color scheme of this butterfly sculpture are the result of the remarkable process used to create it. Colored, pulverized glass is sprinkled onto solid copper and then kiln-fired under extreme heat to fuse the materials together into a solid, clean work of art.

About Bovano of Cheshire:

Bovano of Cheshire, renowned U.S. wildlife and nature enameled copper sculpture company, was founded in 1952 by artist Jim Bower. Bower began his lifelong trade experimenting with a unique form of art which involved fusing powdered glass to copper. For many decades the Flood family has grown the product lines of Bovano into an extensive array of stunning enameled copper wall sculptures and desktop sculptures featuring various birds, sea creatures, flowers, objects, and botanical elements. Each Bovano of Cheshire piece is still produced from start to finish in Cheshire, Connecticut.
